Jay.Greens is a Denver based Producer, Multi-Instrumentalist and MC. As one of Perception Records primary producers, and original founders; Jay.Greens is involved in the production, performance, and creative direction of a variety of different projects all under the Perception Records umbrella. He seeks to craft high quality, honest and genuine art that inspires artists and fans alike in any genre. Jake has spent his entire life, and over a decade professionally pursuing his purpose and life mission through music; creating art that inspires, and helping other artists find their creative direction, and inspiration in order to help them fulfill their own purposes and bring their unique visions to life.
ABOUT
D.J. Williams is an American guitarist, singer songwriter, and producer. D.J. was born in Plainfield, NJ & grew up in Richmond, VA. Williams is the founder of the funky Richmond based band, D.J Williams Projekt; leader of the Denver based rock & soul outfit Shots Fired, and guitarist for San Diego’s critically acclaimed group, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe. Since starting a full time music career in 2003 D.J. has toured the globe from small rock venues to large prestigious music festivals in the US, Canada, and Europe. Williams signed a record contract in 2005 with Harmonized Records and later released on his own label as well as Stoopid Records with KDTU.
D.J. is now recording his own licensing music under Projekt Music which started as a commission by YouTube to write and record 30 new tracks to be available in the YouTube audio library and has expanded into a solo record venture under the title ‘Short Stories’ which debuted beginning of 2021.
The young guitarist has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with John Legend, Dave Matthews Band, John Oates, Warren Haynes, Ivan Neville, Big Daddy Kane, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Soulive, Levon Helm, Slightly Stoopid, Robert Randolph, Slick Rick, and many many more. With an emphasis on compelling melody, refined songwriting, and an extremely diverse musical palette, D.J. Williams strives to push new boundaries as an up and coming guitar player. Just don’t let the name confuse you, because this musician is laying out grooves any “D.J.” would love to sample!
