HALLE TOMLINSON

Halle Tomlinson is a vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose sound blends sultry neo-soul and R&B vocals with hard hitting, hip hop inspired production and sophisticated jazz harmony. Equally at home delivering an intimate vocal performance or building dense layers of harmony and instrumentation, Halle’s music bridges the warmth and musicianship of classic soul with a modern, forward looking production aesthetic.

After first gaining national attention on NBC’s The Voice, Halle became a staple of the Denver music scene and a recurring presence across Perception Records releases, collaborating with artists across genres while steadily developing a sound of her own. Most notably, she was featured on Gordo Flea’s breakout New York anthem “OMW,” which surpassed one million Spotify streams within its first three months.

With “Move It Back,” Halle steps into the center of the frame. The single marks the beginning of a run of releases throughout fall 2026 and the first glimpse into a body of work that has been developing largely behind the scenes for more than two years. It introduces Halle not simply as a vocalist, musician or collaborator, but as an artist with a fully formed perspective and one poised to make an impact in Denver and far beyond it.

As Halle steps into this next era, she begins to peel back the curtain on her debut full length album, Archive, the culmination of more than two years of work alongside Los Angeles based producer Jay.Greens. The record brings together an ensemble of accomplished session musicians, producers and collaborators around a singular sonic world.

The album was produced primarily at Perception Sound, Perception Records’ commercial recording studio in Downtown Los Angeles, with additional recording at Sunset Sound in Hollywood and Laskin Productions in Denver. Its production reflects the evolving Perception Sound aesthetic, combining analog recording techniques, live instrumentation and performances from elite musicians with a contemporary approach to sampling, editing and manipulating those original performances.

Rather than choosing between the organic and the modern, Archive lives in the space between them. Drums, strings, guitars, keys and layered vocals are recorded with the depth and intentionality of classic records, then chopped, sampled and reshaped into something distinctly current. The result is a future soul sound that hits with the weight of modern hip hop while preserving the musicianship, harmony and emotional intimacy at the heart of Halle’s music.

With Archive, Halle Tomlinson is no longer simply lending her voice to someone else’s world. She is building one of her own.
